Erinnerungen an Unrecht (Memories of Injustice)

The volume „Erinnerungen an Unrecht. Arabisch-deutsche Perspektiven“ (Memories of Injustice. Arab-German Perspectives) has been published by Velbrück in the title series „Unrechtserfahrung in transkultureller Perspektive“ (Experience of Injustice in Transcultural Perspective) edited by Sarhan Dhouib. The series aims to reflect on different experiences of injustice in the Arab-German context in an interdisciplinary way. Its contributions are devoted in three consecutive volumes to the thematic complexes of (1) Language and Dictatorship (2018), Memories of Injustice (2021), and Philosophizing in Dictatorship (2021/2).

Qiyama as Rebellion, Taqiyya as Hypercamouflage: The Political Theology of Reza Negarestani

Network member Carool Kersten has written an article about the Iranian-born philosopher Reza Negarestani (*1977), which has now appeared in the Journal World Futures (*1977). The research for this publication was conducted as part of his involvement in a research project “Creation Theology between Humanism and Posthumanism” at the Institute of Philosophical Studies of the Science & Research Centre in Koper, Slovenia.

Der Band erscheint im Oktober 2021, er enthält Überblicksdarstellungen zu den Lehren einzelner Philosophinnen und Philosophen, philosophischen Richtungen und Schulen sowie zu den Argumenten wichtiger Debatten – vielfach handelt es sich um erste Präsentationen hiervon und somit Beiträge zur Grundlagenforschung.
