The colloquium for Philosophy in the MENA region (PhiloMENA) invites to the upcoming guest lecture of Prof. Dr. Karim Tahboub.

Prof. Dr. Karim Tahboub is a professor of mechatronics engineering at the Palestine Polytechnic University in Hebron, Palestine. His expertise, international experience and interest for philosophical and theological questions concerning the use of artificial intelligence make him a unique figure in contemporary scientific discourse. In this guest lecture, Prof. Dr. Tahboub will focus on his project of a Qurʿān-based ethical approach towards the use of advanced technologies such as AI.
